In coordination with CDAB and the County’s survey consultant, Polco, the project team will conduct a survey of County residents to solicit input on how best to balance the need to enforce minimum standards for property upkeep with means of notification and addressing the issues. This survey is connection with the Chapter 18 Nuisance Code Update which is currently in process. Beginning November 12, 2021, PolCo will conduct a statistical survey that samples 5,400 households within the County. The same survey will be open to all members of Los Alamos County on the project website from November 12 to December 17th. It won’t take much of your time to make a big difference, so please participate! Survey results will be analyzed and utilized to inform the direction of the Chapter 18 Nuisance Code Update.
